Can I cancel my registration for a course?

Yes, you can cancel your registration for a course. If you cancel your registration at the latest 14 days before an orientation test or the start of the course, you will only need to pay an administration fee of 50 euros. If you cancel later, you will need to pay the full amount. You can only cancel a registration for a course by sending an email to uct@ugent.be.

Please not that refunds do not happen automatically. If you need a refund, you should send an email to uct@ugent.be within the same academic year with the following information:

• Your name and your address
• Your original registration form
• Your account number, IBAN code (Europe) or SWIFT code (outside of Europe)
• The bank’s name, address and SWIFT code (only in case of an account outside of Belgium)

Ghent University carries out refunds twice a month.
